Want to talk about something about something besides the
usual “What’s your name?” and “What do you do for a living?”? Join
us for this series of informal chats over coffee (or the beverage of
your choice) in Orange County where you can share your opinions and
experiences and ask anything that’s on your mind in a casual setting.

This month’s topic: Asian Americans and the Generation Gap, a.k.a.
“I Don’t Understand My Parents/Kids.” Different generations always
have a hard time seeing eye to eye, but how is this different for
Asian Americans, especially when the children are growing up in the
United States, and the parents are “from the old country”? How
is the approach to career, family and happiness different for the
older generations versus the newer ones? And how is this changing
in the 21st century?
